Cure halitosis with mouthwash
Some may gargle with it, others just swille it around the mouth but mouthwash is undoubtedly a cornerstone of best oral hygiene practices. Certain special mouthwashes can also help you in getting rid of bad breath, halitosis.
Mouthwash in general
Basically, oral rinse in an antiseptic solution of certain chemical and natural ingredients that is meant to reduce the microbes in your mouth (oral cavity). Regular mouthwashes intended to be used daily contain mainly general commercial antiseptics. Oral rinses are most effective against gum diseases and bad breath. Choose a type of oral rinse that does not contain alcohol, it is shown to have an adverse effect. If you suffer from halitosis, it will make things worse due to its drying effect. Alcohol can indeed induce bad breath on its own.
Some companies may claim that their mouthwash is so effective that it protects even against cavities. While they may be useful against cavities, simply no mouthwash will replace proper brushing and flossing. Just consider the fact that you are not brushing the inside of your mouth or your gums with the toothbrush. Toothpaste is made in a way that it needs the mechanical brushing action to perform effectively. The rest of the mouth needs a different treatment.
Home remedies, cure halitosis naturally
Apart from chemical cures there are a few mundane things you can try. Clean your tongue and eat joghurt regularly, mouthwash using coconut oil or chewing gum with zink. If you are a coffee drinker, have it without milk. Try these, they may not work for you but they are free and otherwise truly harmless. Also, do not forget that a main cause of halitosis is trapped food decaying in your mouth. Make sure you use you toothbrush and floss well, maybe even try an interdental toothbrush.
